I'm confused.

If that trans came out of a 2000 Mustang, then the bellhousing is a 4.6L bellhousing. You'll need to ditch that bell and buy one for a 5.0. Also the speedo may be electronic.

And if your buddy is expecting to put his t-5 into his 2000....he's SOL. There is no bellhousing that will mate a t-5 to a 4.6L mod motor.

he bought it for his 88 5.0 which he sold earlier...he is building a 66 stang and was going to put the tko in it. with a few adapters and mods i believe this will fit any v8 stang it has both types of speedo adapters but this is the bellhousing you need to install the tranny in any 5.0 you have to purcase the 96 and up models tranny bellhousing and this tranny will fit the modular motors..it rated to 500 torque lbs versus the 300 torque lbs of the t-5 and they say the tko is a very strong tranny.he is going to put the t-5 in his 66 stang to replace the tko he had to sell to get his 2000 stang on the road.sorry for the confusion...

$800 is a STEAL for that, you'll love the trans if you break it in properly.

800 bucks, you lucky MOFO!

and 90mustang...yes the stocker t-5 doesn't even compare to the TKO, not to even mention being able to support 200ftlbs more than the t5

As said above, that is not a tremec from a 2000 mustang - that's a TKO!! and yes, it is THAT MUCH better than a t-5. Nice going

lol i have been waiting 6 months to get this tranny his best offer was $1500 until he broke his clutch on his stang and pressed for money he accepted the $800 and t-5 exchange, but it worked out great for both of us his 2000 stang is getting upgraded clutch flywheel and forged axles with the 800 dollars me,my son he and a few others will install the upgrades on his car and then do mine we have a little stang club here in gadsden and we help each other with the labor it works out great.and this tko 500 i got has never been installed and it included the bellhousing which is a $200 dollar value...

nice work, that is all
