My twisted wedge heads are coming in today, and my rockers are coming in tomorrow. I'm gonna be running 1.7's on the intake side. Am I gonna need taller valve covers?
mootang said:most likely!! you might be able to get away with doubling the gasket and using your stock ones.
mootang said:these are the valvecovers that i have. they work great and you can't beat the price. you have to use some cork or rubber gaskets. you can't use the stock gasket because of the metal frame on it. also go to summit and get the ford motorsports breather. it looks real nice.

blksn955.o said:Are TFS heads higher in the rocker placement? I mean our covers (short as they are) were factory also on the 94-95 cobra's that had 1.7rr. I bought a set of fox covers they are quite tall, and with a paint or polish job look like one of the best covers on the market. I picked mine up for like 20$ used.
mootang said:it should work but its not the one with a pcv valve is it? the reason i ask is because i had one like that and it would fall out. the one i have now is wider and hold in the whole better.
Actually, that's not the case. The 94-95 Cobra's had different covers that are a little bit taller. They also have the word "COBRA" embossed in the center, where we just have an empty space.blksn955.o said:Are TFS heads higher in the rocker placement?
