New Wheels and Tires...Help!

Hey guys I just ordered some 20" wheels for my 05 satin silver mustang. I ended up paying $1355 for the wheels and tires together. The wheels are made by Zinik and i bought Goodyear Eagle GTs with them. All 4 measure 255/35-20 and i want to get some opinions. Here's a link from the website i bought them from

Also i need a price on lowering my car for future reference so if anybody knows anything about it id appreciate some advice.

Any opinions good or bad are welcomed

For looks your comb is okay, but for performance I would have gotten the 18" and different tires such as Nitto NT 555 or BFG KDW 2. I haven't seen or read too many people buying Goodyear Eagle GTs.

it won't look bad at all....I run 255-35-20's on teh front of mine, it'll look may look out of place utnil you lower it however.

Would you install the springs to lower your car or have someone else do it? The springs themselves are not too expensive. Usually the stock shocks and struts don't last as long when you change the springs, so a full suspension might be the way to go. Not sure of your budget. I would not consider myself much of a mechanic and I did not have much trouble putting a Roush suspension in my car.

ct07gt how much did your roush suspension cost? and could anyone give me just a rough estimate on the price of lowering a mustang?

Springs are about $200+ (depending on the manufacturer) and the installation is about $100.

Full suspension? Way too many parts and options to break that down.

Eibach makes a full suspension specifically for the 05 and up model and I think it was running around $1300, it supposedly gives you porsche like handing and lowers your stang about 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
