It was making me sick, putting so much time into this Stang and having it roll on low budget wheels. So, I order Cobra R's last week and they finally arrived.

Before...

After....

*I'll have better photo's up tomorrow for those that are interested. All I had was my camera phone. I have 205/55R-16 Zexius tires on right now, but want opinions on what I should put on instead. Keeping in mind I live in the NW and this is rain central. Thanks

IMO, the wheels you had before didn't look too bad? Can't dog the Cobras tho... I got a set!

245/45's. Yokohama Avid H4S's. That's what I have, great traction, pretty cheap, and great water traction (Southwest Florida, I understand your "rain" pain).

i think i paid around 105 or so per tire. tire rack has 225's for 83. you want something thicker though. i would say 245 at the minimum.

go on tire rack and play around with their "find tires by size" option. i put in 245/45/16 and came up with a few good options.

Yokohama AVS ES 100's for 98.

Bridgestone Potenza RE750's for 126.

I hated the other wheels, and they were all ****ed up. These are much nicer.

I'll remember that tomorrow, when I'm driving down the road, and listening to the sweet sound of 5.0.

Not to be an ass, but I liked the primes better. 16" cobra r's don't do it for me. As long as you like them, don't worry about it.
