Newb Question::: Air Intake

what does the third hole on the intake do? I know about the 2 tubes that hook up to the right side but what is the one on the lower left do? My stocker didn't have anything there???

thats the intake air temp sensor (IAT). your stocker doesnt have it there because they changed the maf to include this with it, so there's just 1 set of wires. the newer GTs (not sure of the year) shouldnt have that hole there.

if its for ur year, it shouldnt have the hole there. but if it is there for some reason, just plug it.

That explains why my Straight Shot came with a little plastic plug that I couldn't figure out what to do with. My 01 HAS the sensor, so I didn't need to plug it. I thought I did something wrong cause I had leftover parts.
