I just enlisted. I am not what you would refer to as a spring chicken, more of a retired rooster. I have a line on a 1988 Mustang convertible. It's been sitting for a long time and needs total restoration. It has a 4 cyl. that may be good or may not. I have a 5.0 liter HO with tran in my garage out of a 92 T-Bird. What I want is to know if the 5.0 will fit into the Mustang. Another thing I want instead would be a Mustang convertible with a four cyl. and auto, but will take an 8 that my wife and I can use for slow back road trips with the top down. We used to do it in our '72 MG but because of health restraints I need a slightly bigger car. Can anyone out there help me with either one. A car from the 80's would be my choice because of $$$.
