I'm a bit new to the classic Mustang world, although not to classic Fords. I currently own a 71 Bronco and a 75 Bronco and have restored ( restomod) a couple more. Anyway, my wife decided that she wanted an old Mustang, so I managed to find a 67 that had all the bodywork, paint and interior completed. The only issue is that is a 6 cyl car, which I really don't want. So.... time to do a v8 swap and also move to an auto. I've been doing some reseach and reading on exactly what parts I need for the swap (including the I6 to v8 sticky here). I need a little clarification on my parts list just to make sure I have it right. My list so far:

Motor mount frame brackets and motor mounts

engine and all brackets, accessories, etc
c4
torque conv.
flex plate
bell housing
shifter, bezel, linkage, etc.
front spindles(will be converting to disk)
shocks
front coils

rear leaf springs
9" rear - I already have a fine selection of bronco axles

Radiator
Hoses
Transmission cooler & lines

gas pedal assembly and linkage

Fuel line

Exhaust - will be Custom

From what I can see, the control arms, stut rods, tie rods and drag link are all the same on the 67s, correct?

Anything else I am forgetting?
I realize this probably comes up all the time, but I want to make sure I completely ubderstand and get the list correct.

at a quick glance it looks right. Since i have 65 mustang and falcon, im not sure about control arms being the same between a 6 and an 8.

but i have to say; thats awesome your wife wants a classic mustang.

Welcome to the board and congrats on your stang!

Since you are converting to auto, you may want to consider an AOD instead of the C4. Gives you overdrive.
