Mine was a 5 spd and I pulled the tranny and left the bell on the motor. If you have a leveler it makes the job much easier.
I just removed the (1) nut on the u/side of the K member and left the mount bolted to the motor... same deal on re-assy, bolt the mount to the block. this way you only have the (1) nut to deal with.
