Heyyall. First of this is my first stang ('04 GT vert) and I love it. Been waiting for years to get one. What I want to know is this. In this picture (first pic on page) http://featurerides.stangnet.com/view.cgi?ID=62 what is the "rollbar" actually called or is that what they call them? Where can I get one, brand and cost? Will I be able to put one on mine and will it help my structural stability? Thanks.

light bar

Most would call it a light bar due to the brake light in it.

Will cost around $400 bucks to purchase. Can get from Classic Design Concepts. But you may find cheaper. Just do an internet search to find the best price.

u can find them cheaper in other places. remember, it will not protect u in a roll over! only a true roll bar will!

you know I was hunting for new bolt ons and I saw a rollbar that fits inside the CDC light bar on E-bay, shame I just leared my history or I'd link you.... from the looks of it, it would cost some pretty pennies to weld in, but it would work

I doube it makes that much of a difference.

IMHO if you do flip over, that thing is going to bend right over. It's got two ways to go, back towards the backseat, or RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU, smapping your head off like a twig.

I'm getting the Aotopower 4 point rollbar when I get the extra cash. They actually look pretty decent when installed.
