newbie needs help with JBA headers

I have a 1998 4.6L and I just bought JBA headers to isntall. Unfortunately, I am mechanically challenged so I can't do this myself which puts me at the mercy of friends and techs.

I am told be different people different things-the latest being I have to remove the heads first to install the headers. Is this true or is there some kind of motormount loosening/engine moving technique someone here knows?
