Well I'm the proud (well maybe not proud) owner of a 67 A-code Convertible. It's a project but I went into it knowing that. (sorry no pics yet as it hasn't even arrived home). So here's the first of Many questions I've got so please bear with me.
First a little history.
PO is/was a mustang restorer who loves 65-66. He started restoring this 67 when a 65 came into his possesion so he stopped where he was and started on the 65. (which is beautiful by the way.) Basically the vehicle is stripped, minus the column and dash. Most of the parts are nicely tagged and in boxes, but I haven't been thru them yet. He started at the front and was moving back and had gotten to about the back seat. So from that point forward it's beautiful.
Now Along comes me.
Now that you know what I'm starting from here's my question. I've restored 3 early broncos and know how they go together, but this is my first Early mustang. Since I will be mainly at the "putting new pieces together" stage, Is there a "good" set of Pubs that break out the body well, In other words I'll need to know what order to put the new parts on. 2nd. There are two metal braces on the interior that go from the Back seat Panel diagonally down toward the floor, they are ribbed and about the only 45º angle pieces on the interior, what are they called and can I get them anywhere?
