Hey Everyone,

I usually cruise the GT forums but my girlfriend is looking at a '04 V6 Stang.

My questiion is, what kind of gas mileage do you guys get in town and on the highway and how does the car handle in snow (she probably would put snow tires on). She wants something that is decent on gas (realizing it's not a Honda) and able to get around in snow.

Is there any other problems or things that she should know about?

Thanks.

mine gets 23/27 pretty true to the sticker.

I live in snow country, and i'll tell you what she needs to do...

take it out in a bigass parking lot when it snows (preferably one with no light poles) and slide it around for like an hour. That'll get her used to it, tell her to put it into weird ass spins (bad ones) and get out of them. I do that every year when our snow comes and it tunes me up for what lays ahead in crappy weather.. aka 5 months of non-stop snow. Just make sure you put snow tires on it.

I used to get about 20 mpg in my v6 when I had it.

...as for snow.. yeah, mustangs aren't meant for snow. I usually keep my stangs parked in the winter time.

20 to 23 on highway and like 12 when i'm in town and getting on it hard. Gas millage sucks for a 6, but they sure are fun.
