Newbie Suspension Questions!

Wanting to do a front suspension upgrade on my 1967 Fastback. The front end seems pretty loose and worn out so I am wanting to make my next project restoring everything needed. I was looking at the complete kits from CJ Pony Parts and was wanting some feedback as to if you guys thought this would be a good idea.

I'm debating on whether to go with the complete kit with the addition of new shocks or the starter kit. The two are listed below.

In my opinion, if you're going to do something, do it right the first time. If it were me, I'd rebuild the entire suspension, not just part of it. If everything is new, then you don't have a weak link. Besides, the car is 42 years old, I'm sure everything needs replaced anyway....

You make a good point. Better to save up and do it all at once and not have to worry about it anymore.

No I hadn't tried Ebay yet, Thanks a lot. I looked at the link and then looked at Laurel Moutain Mustangs website. They have some pretty nice stuff. saw a super suspension kit they have that includes everything from your link pus all new front a rear sway bars for $850.00. This may be an option.

I hadn't planned on doing the rear of the car yet but I might as well get a complete kit and do it all at once if it's cheaper.

Ya never know. I have several hundred thousand miles on my 66, and 3 of the original tie rod ends. Before you get crazy, I'm on the third set of ball joints.

While you have the front end apart, re-drill the upper control arms one inch lower. It'll feel like you put a bigger sway bar on it.
