newbie with some questions...

hey all, i just got an 86 gt v8 5 speed, car is rough, but with some time and money i'll have her fixed up and ready by spring.
car runs, i'm doing some tune up, i bought a new coil, plugs, wire, etc...
the car is primer gray, so i'm not worry about paint yet.
i also got some weather strip for the hatch, and i noticed that the outer stips from the windows are really dried and loose, so i looked them up online, and they are like 80 bucks, i was wondering if anyone knows where to get them cheaper.
exhaust: stock for now, but my friend said that he might know someone that has one for cheap...
brakes: i intall new rotors, pads and bearings today.
tomorrow i'll do some cleaning and cover some little holes where the mouldings where...

Hey whats up? Welcome to stangnet im still considered a newb compared to these guys and i know a good amount of stuff lol.. seems like you know what your getting yourself into thats a great thing. you will notice that ford cars have some really stupid **** done to them so beaware

exhaust is a good place to start i had mine even before i started driving lol.. if you have any questions or anything just send me a pm im on about a million times a day so ill get it sooner or later

thanks, i also own an 02 svt focus 6 speed, so i kinda know i'll have to keep up with it but it'll be fun, i just need little things, and one of those would be the weather strips or outer something that they call it...

weatherstripping is gonna be pricey no matter where you get it. bite it now and buy reputable pieces from 50resto or blueoval
