now is everyone saying cobra because its a cobra, seems that everyone one would rather have a car that has the snake badges rather than building something baddass

The Cobra is a bad ass that just happens to have snakes on it.
Cobra will be cheaper to build to make that HP level cause no tearing into the engine. It will handle much better on off camber corners and on the street as well. It has a 6 speed so putting some steep gears for the track wont hurt its highway manners eaither. The seats are more supportive and it just looks killer.

Get the Cobra and call it a day.

seats will go, sparco or corbeu harnesses will take their place in both cars,as well as a MM roll bar, i dont care about cheaper i care about getting the car i want, most likely either of the cars wont be driven on the streets much only the track really, if anything friday nights to dinner and thats it, less wear and tear the better, also i dont feel comfortable in a car never have doesnt matter the brand, being that low to the ground like that makes me nervous, so i'd just prefer to drive my current DD on the streets as well as using it to tow **** to the track, but my next question is how do these cars fair for larger people, im 6'2" 180lbs and have a size 14 foot, its been a while since i sat in either brand of car, with race harness seats and any brand of racing shoe i have a very hard time fitting into my fox comfortably, when im pushing the car to its limits, i feel nice and snug, but city driving sucks major ass since im all cramped, how would the 2 cars compare

The Cobra has no more room than a Fox and actually has less knee width room. A S197 has MUCH more space in it. About as much as my Mark VIII.

My previous post was in answer to the question as to wheather it was chosen cause its a Cobra or if it really is a bad ass. It really is a bad ass and if I were to make a trak primarily car then Cobra Terminator is the choice. If I wanted something more for the streets then a blown S197 running around 450 rwhp would be my choice as I get older.

i'm 6' 2" 230 lbs and a size 14 foot, and my 04 GT is very comfortable, thats with the OEM seats though.. but ive driven my buddies 99 GT and it's not as roomy, even though it's the same car..

the 05+ are slightly roomier on the inside

What needs to be said, they're race seats?

I'm the same size of you, and found corbeaus to my liking for a nice dd seat and still a comfy snug fit when hitting the track. they've got regular and wide fitting seats, but you should be just fine in a regular width, and whether it's fixed back or reclining is up to you. I like the LG1's for reclining and Forza or FX series if going fixed back.
