I want to spend about $150-$300 on my 96 cobra. I have pullies, o/r h-pipe, flows, mass air, and msd wires. what do u guys suggest? It is my daily driver and i like to drag race on the weekends. I am tinking maybe a short throw shifter. ignition/chip/programer/throttle body??

Save another hundred and get gears installed

Well, this is an easy choice. Either 4.30 or 4.56 gears with a short throw shifter.

sorry, forgot to mention i already have 3.73's. I wouldnt mind having 4.10 or 4.30,s but hate to buy another set (3.73's were in it when i bought it). probably definatly going to go with the shifter. which do u prefer. I have heard the pro 5.0 base with the steeda tri-ax shifter is the best from a few people. what do u guys think?

never felt the pro 5.0 but the B&M Ripper that i have makes the triax feel like stock.. bwhahhaha
