Next Mods to 96 Cobra

I am stuck on figuring out what the next parts I should buy for my 96 Cobra to make it faster. I am looking for the best bang for the buck. The car is a 96 Cobra with 111k on it. I think the mileage is messed up on the car tho. For some reason the odometer moves faster. Well anyway. I have had the car for about 1 year and have done the following. Bassani O/R X-pipe, Steeda MIL Eliminators,Magnaflow catback with new tailpipes(the magnaflows tips are nasty!) Tokiko Illumina 5 way adjustables, and Tokiko 1.25 inch lowering springs, Centerforce clutch,and 18x9 Saleen wheels. And some apperance mods. My next step is cleaning the IMRC plates because I hear they are a major problem and I think my car is more capable of 14.20's. I hear alot of basically stock cars doing mid high 13's. Thats where I want to get. So next im cleaning the IMRC plates and I think a set of 4:30's. After that im not sure where to go with my mods. Thats where you guys come in Thanks

Well, if you are after "bang for the buck," then consider:

Gears, shifter, underdrive pullies, & timing adjuster

I think the mileage is messed up on the car tho. For some reason the odometer moves faster.

Sounds to me like the previous owner installed aftermarket gears and did not install either the proper speedo gear to compensate. Ask the previous owner what ratio of gear if any he had installed. What's the rpm @ 60 mph?

Gears, exhaust, power adder and it does sound like you may have a gear in it already if your odo is fast.

when i first got my car i thought my spedo was fast then i relized my car is just really fast and i put miles on faster than usual
