So the next thing on my list of things to get done is my sound system.
Things i already have are.
3.5 Inch infinity kappa speakers 35w rms at 4ome.
5x7 Infinity kappas 100w rms at 4ome.
ONE audio bann 12 inch 400w rms sub at 2 ome.
A costom made "by me" sub box for my trunk.

I need a
100w rms x 4ch amp
400w rms mono
And wires.

"also 3g alt"

I already have amps picked out on ebay
But i am having trouble figuring out the wire i am going to need to order.

I have an mp3 player and i plan on hardwireing that to the amps insted of a head unit, by using a 1/8inch jack to a RCA ends.

My question is what kind of Wire do i need to Not only power it but connect the all the inputs and outputs.
I know the car toys has a duel amp kit that they say would work for power but the want 150 for it.
I know there is stuff on ebay but i dont know the specs i need.

Dose anyone have any input??

I am sick of those places, all they are focused on is selling you a product and they really dont give a **** about you or your system.

If i were you, I'd run a 4 gauge wire WITH an inline fuse from the battery to the amps, since you are running two. Don't forget that fuse, because it is VERY easy to fry an amp without one. To connect your two amps together, you need a distribution block. From the dist. block, you'll want some 8 gauge wire to run it to the amps. As for input/output wires, just some stereo cables will do. I wouldn't skimp on these though, because they are what are transmitting the sound. When I had my system, I used Stinger audio cables, they were real good. Got them off ebay too pretty cheap. Do a search and you should find some on there. To turn on the amps, just use some old 22 gauge speaker wire to run from the REM on the head unit to the amps. You don't need anything fancy for wire, all it does is send a small signal to the amps to turn them on.

Thank you. i have an idea for the power wires now.
How do i link the two amps togather to reciver the same signal? Remember i am hard wiring a Mp3 player to the amps.
Also would there be any way i could hard wire my Mp3 and my stock radio?

All those converters for mini-jack to RCA are gonna reduce your sound quality. They will work, but not optimally. You could try it, see if you like it. If not, you could always add a head unit after.

Instead of running that 22 gauge wire from the head unit to the REM of the head unit, your gonna have to run it from the battery, and maybe install a switch along the wire if you want to be able to turn off the amp, which i'm thinking would be good.

Each amp should have an input and an output. Get an amp that has built in adjustable crossovers or filters, or buy one separately. That way, the signal gets filtered. The highs are played by one amp and the lows are played by the other amps.

I agree with sunil6784... run at least a 4 gauge main power wire, and make sure it's fused no further than 16" from the battery. Then run it to a distrbution block, and then use at least 8 gauge wires going to each amp. If your amps don't have built in fuses I'd consider a fused distribution block a necessity. For the grounds you can just use an 8 gauge wire going from each amp to a common point on the chassis.

There are some pretty good deals on wiring kits on ebay... you'll want to look for a 'dual amp' or 'multi amp' kit. Here are some examples:

thank you for all the help. I really dont like the sound quality that the fm modulators have so i figured the 1/8 to rca wire would be better.

Also I would like to add: Your grounds (from the amp to chassis) should be as short as possible. Under 12" long if possible.
