Currently I got the blue LX interior and some gray GT sport seats. I want to paint all the plastic and vinyl black, put a black velour top and put some velour on the door panels where the fabric and carpet is. I'll try and mold some fiberglass for the door speakers (would like to angle them a bit) Carpet will be black with 4 floor mats with the Mustang pony. I'd like to try and fit some SN95 sun visors with mirrors if I can. Then I need to find some black seat belts rebuild the rear hatch cover thing with black vinyl or find a black one (good luck)... I think I'm in for a heck of a job! After all this I need to buy a kit to recover my seats in black leather.

-- OR -- Just stick with the blue but restore some of the panels, new blue carpet, and get the seats recovered with darkblue/light blue vinyl custom job. That would be real cheap but all black looks real nice and there aren't many 89 LX hatch backs with an all black interior :)

Do vinyl is good for cold temperature, or it will strech and broke? 'Cause it could be cool to get some vinyl seats..(cheap but better then my dirty old blue cloth seats)...

Could it be cool? or will look cheap and idiot?

Depends on the quality of the material. You could do vinyl sides and fabric centers. It can't be worse than the stock Ford leather quality IMO. Every Ford leather seat I found in SN95 cars, are all worn out and very abused looking.

But I wouldn't spend the cash to redo plain LX seats, try and find some GT seats or something first. My GT seats hardly cost me anything - they came with the T5 lol
