Nitrate or Aluminum

A technician from thunderracing told me nitrate would hold up better than aluminum. How true is this? Should I stick with aluminum or try the nitrate? I know it's not a world of difference but a little difference is still something, right?

Well, personally I don't think you're going to wear any kind of pulley out, regardless of it's material, so I'd go with whatever's cheapest....unless you want it to look pretty, then I'd buy the Aluminium.

ASP pulleys are real nice, they weigh less, and you can get them in colors. You can also get them to make you a matching idler pulley.
