Hi Guys,

I'm obviously new to this site and new to the piston world (last car was an RX-7). I bought a Bullitt 2 days ago and love it. Coloured in DHG, it's all stock with 96,000 KM's.

In my 7, I had a custom-built nitrous system and would love to continue my nitrous ways. Can i nitrous-inject an all stock 4.6 or will I need certain support/complimentary mods in conjunction with the nitrous system?

I'd love to keep it as stock as possible (if i don't need the mod something, i won't) to try and maintain some of the Bullitt's marque status, but would like some juice to spank some faster cars :D .

first welcome and second you need to mod. why wouldnt you ? you can through n2o in the stock form just dont do anything above a 100 shot and change the spark plugs to 2 stages colder and make sure the bottle pressure is always around 900-1050 when you spray. have fun with the bullitt and make sure you mod it.

thanks for the welcome.

i dont intend to go over 100 as my primary shot. im hesitant modding my car as to de-value it. like my previous nitrous system, i intend to get a walbro, nitrous, fuel and EGT guages and keep it as safe as possible.

apparently, H/X pipes are a good bang for the buck. what are they exactly and what's the difference between and H and X pipe?

thanks for your patience - i'm new to mustangs

the the H pipe is in the form of an H, and the x-pipe is in the form of an X. they are mid pipes on your exhaust. it goes header-mid pipe-muffler-tailpipes. H give more torque while x give more hp. i liek x better but its all a personal opinion

what he said about the power with the X and H but there is also a sound difference between the two. 100-125 shot is fine on stock engine, just get the colder plugs and run 93 octane fuel. The kit black00Gt has is the NX wet and is what you want for your car. Get the Genx2 kit . Follow NX recommendations and instructions and all is good.

welcome, i think you could run a 100 shot stock, but i wouldnt push it past that.

i would say do h or x pipe and a cat back. and then do gears, man they will make a differance.

also i would say get a custom tune done to make sure that when you spray you dont run lean (i think you could get away with out a tune. but from what i hear its better if you get a tune done).

and if you get a tune done just have them re-cal your ECC for the new gears.
