i have searched and i cant seem to find the answers im looking for so if you guys could help that would be great.

okay i was wondering i have roush stg1 2002 4.6L 2V. I purchased the svt focus fuel pump, is the focus pump a direct replacment for my car or will some modding have to be done in order for it to work?

also where should you mount the purge solenoid at, should it be infront of the nitrous solenoid or behind it? pics would be great.

jegs sent me the e1 eldelbrock nozzle it says direct port nitrous nozzle, will that work if im spraying through the upr spray plate or will i need to send it back and get a fogger nozzle? or is that for dry only.

i have the nos jets and they sent me a .042 and .052 i asked for a 100 shot is that correct? also the bigger number would be the fuel correct or do i have it backwards?

jegs also sent me the fuel pressure safety switch for 50psi efi engine is that to much or will that work to.

the reason i ask is the guy from jegs sounded like a retard and im hoping he got it all right. any help would be great thanks.

Check with eldelbrock. I do not know how their system works. But different systems require different jetting. From fuel smaller to fuel the same size to fuel larger than the nitrous jet. Talk to the manufacturer.

NOS (Holley) nitrous jets are one of the few N20 jets out there that are actually rated at the crank. So a .47 N20 NOS brand jet will is actually rated at about 85 RWHP. However, wet kits usually make more power than the jet is rated at, so don't be surprised if you actually make more than 100 to the tire.

Usually in my experience the .47 N20 jet is usually the one that Holley sends out for a 100 shot. The fuel jet you use will depend on your actual measured fuel pressure at WOT. On fuel injected cars, the fuel jet is usually smaller than the N20 jet. Carburted cars with lower fuel pressure it is just the opposite.

If they truly sent you a direct port nozzle, that won't work well because they spray straight out and that will hurt the nitrous distribution and fuel atomization. The fogger nozzles spray at a 90° angle.

If the FPSS is actually rated at 50 PSI that is too high. Is it an adjustable one? 35 PSI is usually about right considering a healthy fuel system.
 
thanks for the help i called jegs back and they said they messed up on the nos jet that it is supposed to be .055 instead of .052 and they said that will fix it. so are you saying to get rid of the direct port for the fogger?
 
ya the upr spray plate goes between the plenum and upper intake, cool im glad that nozzle will work,

now i looked on nos jet chart, for the jets they sent me .042 fuel/.055 nitrous that shows to be a hundered shot for a gm tpi 350 stock. will that be okay for what i am doing? jegs says it shouldnt matter but nos says differently for the 99+ 4.6 any ideas?
 
Yes, it will make a difference. GM TPI cars have slightly different fuel pressure WOT than these 2 valve mod motors which would affect the fuel jet size, and the GM TPI motor will respond to that N20 jet much differently than our smaller 281" motors.

For example I am running a 57 N20 jet and a 31 fuel jet (.057"/.031"). These are with NX solenoids and a NX 10lb bottle. At 1000-1025 PSI I made 423 RWHP. This was a 143 RWHP gain over my N/A dyno pull.

Whatever Holley recommends for the N20 jet I would use. But to really get the fuel jet size correct, you are going to need to determine what your fuel pressure is @ WOT. The most accurate way to do this is to attach a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve and tape it to the cowl or windshield and go for a WOT run. Then you can tell Holley what your WOT fuel pressure is and they will recommend teh correct fuel jet.
 
thanks man this really helps because i have no idea what it will be with the new fuel pump.

is the fuel pump over kill for the shot that im running or is good insurance just to have it because dropping the tank is not fun.

My stock fuel pump keeps up just fine on the 125 (423 RWHP). Generally speaking the stock fuel pump is OK until about 450 RWHP on a wet kit. I have personally tuned many cars with the stock fuel pump and 125-150 RWHP wet shots. Over 450 RWHP the rails can start to lose a little pressure as the pump is maxing out. Dry is obviously more demanding on the fuel system.

are you running nos jets or nx? and what are the expected ratings of that shot ( # )?
