Well I went and bought the Zex kit brand new from unlimited performance for $443 shipped to my door which is pretty good. I had a couple sour experiences buying stuff used so I went with a new kit.

As for the tech part of this thread. I don't want to spend $190 on a Window Switch so my idea is to leave the Nitrous deactivated until I am passed 3000RPM then flip the switch so I'm right in not necessarily needing a window switch correct?

Also I'm going to spray the 75 shot first then most likely jump to the 100 shot after some experience. I'm going to get colder plugs and retard my timing back to 10* for the 75 shot, would this be sufficient to not get detonation. I also run 92-93 Octane if this adds to the equation. Do I need the AFPR and Fuel Pump for the 75 shot? And if not for the 75 shot for the 100 shot?

Thanks.
oh Ya

Wet units are the ****nit!!!! I love mine! made my car go 11's on stock suspension and drag radials. (I was squeezin 125 though!) I would get a fuel pump just to be on the safe side...no need to starve the injectors or burn up your motor! If you are interested I have a BBK 255lph in tank fuel pump with pickup for sale...$110 shipped!

I failed to mention that this is a dry kit sorry. Eventually I probably will get a fuel pump and AFPR but for the time being I was wondering if I can get by with the stock fuel stuff on the 75 shot and how the durability would be affected by this. I know GFCOMX(sorry if the name is incorrect) has Zex and I was wondering if he could chime in or other people familar with the kit. Thanks.

You should be alright with the 75...i would still eventually upgrade. I ran a 75 dry kit for a while but my car picked up a whole lot more with the wet. I had a fuel pump/regulator though...not too sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in. The offer still stands though...sorry i sold my afpr a while ago.

I went with dry because I heard of puddling in the intake with the wet kit, the dry kit was cheaper since I'm a poor college student, the install is easier with a dry kit. I am pretty sure I will be satisfied for now with my car on the 75-100 shot. I'm looking for low to mid 13s with a decent mile an hour. I don't have all the funds for the supporting parts to spray much more of a shot.

Only if you spray to low in the rpm range. Also, make sure you retard that timing. 14* is a no no

I spray below 3000 with my dry kit and have no problems.

The below 3000 thing pertains mainly to wet kits so that fuel does not puddle in the intake. In my opinion, you definitely don't need a window switch with a dry kit.

I only spray at WOT which has worked flawlessly for years, you should be ok with 75 shot w/ stock pump. Have fun

75 work fine with all stock components, I would upgrade the fuel system ( including colder plugs) when you hit the 100 shot. It's better to have more fuel then not enough. Also when using the 100 shot you may have to retard the timing a bit.

I agree with wytstang...I'm just sick of typing the same stuff on the once a week nitrous thread (no offense to you MadHandle). It's be like so totally awesome if someone made a nitrous sticky thread.
