nitrous

Nitrous isnt cheap by any means, but it is cheaper than a blower, but really not by that much especially considering the $40 to fill the bottle however often you need to.

My Setup
Zex Wet Kit - $525
Zex Purge - $75
Zex Window Switch - $150
Zex Gauge - $50
Dyno Tune Automatic Heater - $150
Blow Down Tube - $50
Focus Pump - $100
XCal 2 with Tune - $400

I am running a 75 shot until I get the Xcal tuned, then I am going 125 shot.

nitrous is NOT a cheap alternative to a blower. all you guys saying that its cheap dont have a clue.

i keep wantin to stop talkin about it cuz i kno i'm going to end up buying a kit even though i cant afford it really. haha.

if you cant afford to buy the kit, FORGETABOUT it cause youll NEVER be able to afford the new engine when (not if WHEN) you blow up your current engine.

Great advise....we all know a blower motor has never blown up.:rlaugh: You must have lots of experiance with nitrous.:bs: I've only ran a 150 shot on my stock longblock for 3 years now...I'm sure the motor will never last:lol:

hmm ive been running n2o for 8 years on these mod motors. let me guess you have most if not all the right safety stuff with it, if so good job. this guy that started the thread is looking for a quick cheap route instead of a blower, we all know that you can only have 2 of the three, quick good or cheap. 150 on these engines is fine as long as you do it right.

My apologies....I know who I'm talking to now:) After your explanation I have to agree:nice: BTW, I do have all the safety equipment as well as a good tuner:D

im just trying to get accross that n2o is not cheap, you can not just get a kit and toss it on the car and go, you do not get EVERYTHING you SHOULD have with the kit, yes it will work out of the box, but will it stay together long, probably not. larger fuel pump, activation switches, tunes, thoes are just some of the things that dont come with the kit that you should have.

well not to steal a thread but i have some ??'s..For running a 75 or 100 shoot is there a need for biger injecters are fuel pump??

For a dry shot yes.

For a wet shot no on the injectors. I dont have a fuel pump upgrade either but it would be a good insurance policy.
