so i bought my car a few months ago, and i think someone used nitrous on it.. there's a hole next to the cig lighter, where it looks like a switch used to be.. and today i checked, there's a hole in my intake a few inches from the throttle body.. so im guessing someone used nitrous on it? and also, isn't that hole in my intake a bad thing? should i plug it up?

If air is getting into the intake after the MAF then you need to plug it immediately yes.

You also need to verify what kind of tune the car has.

Also, I would suggest tracking down the seller and beating him about the head and shoulder area for a significant period of time.

That is nothing, but I would get a longer piece of hose to cover the hole, because your car still is running lean more likely than not at WOT. The Steeda piping I have didn't have one extra hole but two (one was for nitrous and the other was for the IAT sensor, but my kit didnt have the grommet, so I covered it with a longer piece of silicone hose for both holes).

And I would think that yes, your car or at least the intake on it was plumbed for nitrous at some point..

If it runs fine, idles fine and has good oil when you change it, it should be just fine, but I would cover up the hole with a longer silicone hose to cover that up. Also, I would check the plugs to see if they changed them to a heat range colder and didn't change them after..

you should be fine as josh said , if your car was damaged due to the nitrous it would have been obvious , nitrous itself isn't that harmful , its people misusing it , and that hole does look like it was used for nitrous , i would repeat what other people said , check what heat range your plugs are if you haven't changed your plugs before , but first things first , plug that hole!
