OMG I got some new DOT approved road race slicks...

I cannot believe the difference. My car was very difficult to control before with a soft street compound (Kuhmo MX's) and now it feels like friggin velcrow. It feels like a different car.

FYI These are not recommended for a daily driver...

I agree, the tires did wonders for the handling on my car. The only drawback to them is the limited sizes they offer, all else is spectacular.

They ended up having my exact tire set-up up I needed 225x45x17 up front and the 275x40x17 in the rear. They do seem fairly limited.

I ended up with 245 17's front and 275 17's out back. They are slightly wider than most tires the same designated size. I really wanted to go with the 18's but their profile was too low and they wouldn't look that good at a 25.4" diameter on an 18" wheel.
