Well unfortunately my mechanic at Ford, left his job to persue another career, and now i have no one to hook me up with Ford service and parts at cheap prices

Soooo, where in (northern) New Jersey are some good Mustang performance shops? I'll be looking to do Wheels, springs, shocks, CC plates, FULL exhaust, chips, etc. So i want a reliable place.

The only places that i know of was my mechanic, and LaRocca's Performance down in Englishtown, NJ. Anyone know of closer or cheaper ones? Anyone know LaRocca's hourly rates for installs?

Let me know, thanks guys.

UDT,
Crazy Horse Industries, formerly Crazy Horse Mustang, in South Amboy, NJ is decent. Also, Mustang Magic in Long Island New York is an excellent place. If you go to there website they even have prices on some installs, including exhaust and chips. Check them out.

If you want to take a drive south and get off at exit 4 of the turnpike, you can speak to Craig Radovich of Radical Racing in Atco, NJ. He is the man! I have had many ideas that I wanted him to try, and he's already tried them. He's been working on mustangs for almost 12 years.. The guy is great and very good prices!! He did all my work and is finishing up my supercharger as I type.

no i didn't mean englishtown was north jersey, I meant i would drive to englishtown. Notice how i said "down in englishtown"

I live in Bergan County. I can walk 1 mile north and cross the border of new York. So im WAY north Jersey, but my friend goes to LaRocca for his 9sec mustang GT mods. So, i might be goign there, but wanted to keep my options open.

I want a place that is reliable, and if they do things like gears, and shim them wrong (say) that they are willing to fix small thigns like that without me paying MORE money. Just looking for Quality work at a resonable price.

While not a Mustang speed shop, you could contact Steve from Preferred Automotive in Madison 973 301-0500.

Very qualified and he cares. Believe me he won't rip you off.

He's worked on my cars for about 6 years now.

Just tell him that Mark from the bank recommended you.

Does anyone know of other Performance shops in northern NJ (07647)?

I will be needing my JBA Shorty headers installed there, because I'm not sure I can do this myself.

But I will try to install my C/C plates, struts/shocks, and Lowering Springs myself...otherwise I need to find a shop to install these too.

Whats up- I'm in Bergen co too.. not far from some of you.

Alfredo from Valley Performance did some work for me, he did a pretty good job at a real good price. He used to work for Ford.. they work on Fords and Stangs primarily. Hes about 20 mins from the NY/NJ border on the parkway in Belleville, NJ right off of Route 21.

201-751-7505

Tell him Johan with the Saleen sent you.

Hmmm will do! Do you have a website of his at all?

How about a website for CRAZY HORSE RACING? I find them mentioned all over the net, but can't google a homepage for their shop.
Can anyone link me to Crazy Horse's site?

Alfredo at Valley Performance- he has no website, I found his information thru an old MMFF magazine online. His address is 10 Greylock Avenue in Belleville.

Crazy Horse.. their website was still in the works the last I check. I have been down there for some dyno runs and they have a nice place. Its just that they are an hour away and alfredo is 20 mins away. Let me know what you decide, PM me or something
