I don't have access to a dyno and I'm not quite sure of the power gains so can anyone help me out and give me a rough estimate of how much HP &Trq I have? Also, will I will be able to beat my bud's Infiniti G35 which is stock at 280hp? :)

03 GT 5 speed - 13000 Miles on it

Magnaflow x-pipe and catback
4.10's
Royal Purple covering all 3 areas
K&N intake
Steeda Intake Spacer
Steeda U/D pulleys & T/A
70mm TB & Plenum

Other mods:
Bullitt suspension and Tokico Shocks & struts
Steeda short shifter
Steeda light strut tower brace

Thanks in advance!

You can probably make an estimate based on my mods...I have an 01 GT 5 speed and the mods are: Steeda CAI, Accufab T/B and Plenum, Steeda Intake Spacer, Steeda Underdrive Pullies, Steeda T/A, Bassani O/R Xpipe, Steeda SS Cat Back, 3:73, Steeda Computer Flash. With those mods my car put down 251rwhp and 289rwtq. I did install cams recently as well as a Superchips to tune the cams and my car now puts down 284rwhp and 302rwtq...hope this will help give you a rough estimate on what your car is making

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Based on your mods which are similar to mine to a degree I can assume a minimum of 250rwhp and 290 rwtq then? How much does that equate to flywheel out of curiosity?

Do you think I could take my bud's Infinity G35 automatic transmission? :)

Thank you!

It might be close in the Hp dept (245-250rwhp), but I think you're a little high with the rwtq.

5 speed flywheel conversion to rwhp:
260fly * .85 = 221rwhp

rwhp to flywheel:

221rwhp / .85 = 260fly

So, your buddy with 280fly has about 238rwhp if he's got a stick.

Use .80 for automatics.
Yup, I was just about to say 15-20%, stick/auto, but you beat me to it.

Cool thanks guys, goves me a good idea where I'm at.

Gonna fry mu bud's G35 and get back to you with the results. Yeah, he's fully stock and fully loaded also (GPS system, etc. A/C Power everything) so his car is at its maximum weight heh heh heh...

Question though, out of curioisity, if we were both bone stock me with a 5 speed him with the automatic would I still be able to take him considering he is a V6 after all?

Thanks for all the help guys.

If you can't take him, you need practise driving. The G35 is a solid 14.5 car. My brother has one. With the 4.10's and your mods, you should be 13.8 ish. or better....even much better with good tires.

Well it depends which version of the car it is. I saw a 6 speed coupe running 14.3's on a night when I was running 14.0. traction wasn't so great though, he was complaining about it too. plus he recently got the car.
