No Cats Or Mufflers With Stock H Pipe

Hey guys new to the site but I'm needing some help. I recently bought a 2003 mustang gt it has no cats no mufflers and stock h pipe. I want to have an aggressive sound but do not like the popping and drag car sound I have now!

I'm thinking I want the flowmaster super 44 with the h pipe. My question is should I go back on with high flow cats and leave the h pipe then add mufflers, or just add the mufflers to what is already there? I want it loud but not deafening.

Id throw a cat-back on what you have there now. See if you like the sound. You can always change out the mid-pipe later if you'd like.

Personally, I thought the stock H-pipe plus flowmasters was a good combo. Plenty of sound and volume.

Cat back + cats is my vote. No sense in driving a stink cloud when cats are so efficient these days.

its probably popping due to small exhaust tubing diameter.

if no inspection then run an off-road H + chamber mufflers or off-road X with straight through.

I'd recommend cats they give the car a better sound and makes it sound more streetable rather than race ready
