Does any body know where to start looking for the reason for no code 11 when a koeo test is made? i am using a code reader i do get fault codes 95,81 and 82 but no code 11.bad ecu?
87 mustang maf conversion.

That's because code 11 is when everything is good. You have fault codes that need to be addressed.

ok thanks i was under the impression that weather you had fault codes or not you should get a code 11 at the start of the test.

Nope. Code 11 means test passed.


Keep in mind there are three test that are run, two are with engine off, and 1 with engine running. So it's possible to get three code 11s

Code 95 means you did not run a wire from eec to fuel pump relay under seat when maf conversion was done. Doesn't affect how car runs.

Code 81 and 82 are tab/tad solenoids....did you remove them?

so what your saying is i should get a code 11? i did not do the conversion so ill have to check into the relay problem as far as the selanoids go yes they are gone.

Well, you won't get an 11 with those 3 codes. None of them are critical and affect how the car runs. You do not need to fix them.

Hello,

I'm new to the site. I'm having surge problems with my 90 mustang gt. when I dump codes i get codes 67 and 22. I've replace maf, iab, and o2 sensors. Can anyone suggest other items to investigate? thanks

Please open your own post and I will post the 5.0 Mustang specific code definitions and fixes for your code 22 & 67. Piggybacking on someone else's post is bad manners, and people tend to ignore you since they may think the problem has already been solved.
