i just got the accufab plenum and 70mm t/b, but it came strait from accufab with no install directions. i was just wondering if any of you guys got directions with your plenum, and if the install is difficult or not.

i remember hearing that the main concern is the throttle position sensor and a bad idel? i just have to tighten it all the way?

im not putting it on yet, prob. next week, any advice welcomed and if someone could post directions that would surely help! thanks

No it does not come with any directions. When I got mine I called Accufab and since they were "direct replacement" parts, they didn't include them. Everything pretty much is the reverse of the removal of the stock parts. The best thing to do about the tps is check it with a voltage meter and make sure it's between .98 and 1.00. Otherwise, yes you will have idling problems. Hope this helps. The install is pretty easy and should probably take around an hour or so for everything. Good luck!

I just swapped the TPS with no idle issues whatsoever (well, see below).
It's a straightforward swap, but make sure you have a 10mm deep socket for the EGR valve - the bolt closest to the firewall will require this. Other than that, it's simple and basic. Just take your time and clean as you go. Stuff a rag in the manifold opening so nothing gets dropped down inside. (it's a great time to clean all the dirt, sand and whatnot the accumulates on the manifold. Compressed air helps, but again, be sure the manifold is covered.
Disconnect the battery before you start. The only idle issue I had (and this is common with any aftermarket TB and plenum) - it may take a week before the idle calms down. Mine wanted to hang at about 1100 RPMs when coming to a stop for a few seconds and then would drop down to 800 RPMs or like normal. After a week of driving, it settled down completely.
You'll really feel the benefit of this upgrade at 3K plus - it just pulls like never before. Good choice!!!! :nice: :D :hail2: :nice: :D :hail2:
