No, some of us would just rather see a name brand part under the hood than some home made contraption that looks like crap, even if you can get the same benefit. It doesn't make us stupid by far...and my biggest question to you is...in your mod list you say you have a Mac CAI? So, are you calling yourself an idiot? It's all in what you want to get out of your setup. If you aren't going to be showing off the engine bay, then stick whatever you want under there. But if you want a nice piece, you're going to have to pay for it. You never know what you're getting when you buy something off ebay.
