I went to my local dealer last night hoping to find a new 05 GT 5 speed for my wife, and they had 2 N/A Saleen's but no GT's and the Sales guy told us that there would be no more GT's till the 06 model year in August/September, is this true. I did a search and found nothing. She realldy didnt want the Saleen b/c she want's the Roush body kit and then a procharger

Yes, you won't find an '05 GT sitting on any lots that aren't already ordered for someone. I believe they've already cut off production of the '05 so anything ordered now would be an '06. At least this is what a dealer told me. I lucked out and found an '05 GT that the sales manager was driving. They had just put it up for sale and I snagged it up. I really wanted an '05.

There are still a few on the lots down here in the Southeast, but be prepared to pay at least 2k over MSRP

Production isn't due to stop until June, unless something's changed. Dealer near my house has 4 GT's on the lot, they definitely aren't sold. Keep looking around.

Does anyone know the production numbers of the GT this year? Isn't it usually around 25% of the total number of mustangs produced for the year? Anyone know?

More is better

My nearest dealer just got his last two earlier this month--a coupe and convertible. On a recent drive-by, the coupe was out front, so I stopped. It was a gorgeous red fire deluxe with black leather interior. Stickered for around 27K, but the a__hole dealer tacked his $2990 ADM premium sticker next to it! I was so disgusted, I drove away.

Since then, I've been badgering Ford's CRC group hoping to get some info on anticipated 2006 production numbers, but so far I keep getting "lip service" responses. Has anyone heard any viable numbers for the next model year? I'm hoping they'll be significantly higher so I won't have to deal with this ADM BS!

www.goseeoc.com

Last I checked they had 6 or more GTs fully loaded and ALWAYS at sticker. Choose the beaufort location and I worked with Everette Adams.

New Screaming Yellow GT 5 Speed outside Austin TX at MSRP

Friends

I just bought a new Mustang GT MSRP near my hometown of Austin Texas. Cove Ford, of Copperas Cove proved an absolutely zero hassle dealer that made it worth the 90 minute drive. When I left, there was still a Screaming Yellow 5 Speed for $27,300. See attached the Window Sticker for specs.

(Ignore the Silver 5 Speed with Dark Charcoal/Leather interior showing up on the online inventory as it's sitting in my driveway!)
