There is already a little explanation on the situation by one of our admins stickied up top. No need to clutter the boards with worries over post counts and lost threads. New threads will be deleted. Let's get back to tech stuff. If you feel that you must express yourself about this then 5.0 does have a talk section. Thanks for your patience.

I can't beleive as popular as this board the owners did not take the standard procedure of backing up databases, atleast on a monthly basis.

Does anyone have to wait a few seconds before a thread opens up. Everytime I click on a thread it takes a few seconds too open up. Does this have anything to do with the crash or is it just my puter?????

I had trouble even getting the threads I clicked on to display. I cleared my cookies though and it worked.

There was some dude on here (not in this section) that threatened death to a SN staff member because his post count was sent back to zero. He had like 400 post in two days or something. The horror.
