No one told me it was going to be THIS loud!!!

I just got done installing a mac prochamber and magnaflow catback in my 01. The goddamn passengers side bolt connected to the manifold took me and my bud 2 hrs to break loose (the car was only about a foot off the ground. Once that was done installation was a piece of cake. So I go to start her up and HOLY CRAP she is loud, deep and mean, much louder than I thought she would be with the regular magnas. I freaking love this system, I don't think my girlfriend is going to appriciate it much though. Freeway driving has a little bit of drone, combine that with no sleep last nite installing the system and it makes for a killer headache. (hopefully I don't get one everytime I drive my car). I can't even imagin what an offroad pipe w/ MAGNAPCKS must sound like. It must be ridiculous. Anyway love the system, frickin awesome sound, and I couldn't Imagin the car any louder.

congrats on the cat-back. I will tell yah right now that when you add full-lenght headers and X-pipe no cats sounds like all hell broke loose. Me and all my friends thought that nothing could beat my flowmaster thunder series cat back and no one has even brought up that sounds sence i put on the full exhaust. You also get alot of power off headers and x-pipe. I can just tell yah now that i would not reconmend full exhaust on a Mustang if you use it as a daily driver cuz it gets about twice as loud, but sounds 10 times meaner

i still cant decide whether i want to do magnaflow or magnapack and catted or catless x or h !too many damn combos I wish I could hear some of them in person. The sound clips never do them justice. I like a nice rumble at idle alot louder than the weak stock sound, somewhat noticable refined but not raspy cruise tone, and oh my ****ing god cop magnet @ WOT

It will get better as you drive it. Something about the exhaust getting burned in.
