I'd like to see pictures of Fox's with no spoiler. I'm curious about how it would look. In my mind, seems like it could be cool, but has the potential to be really weak too.

I hate the way (leafs) and pine needles make there way up under my LX spoiler, and then hang out underneath. Opinions are welcome too, but pictures would be a big help.

No Spoiler=No Downforce at high speed=loose rear end=dead man driving.

Not trying to scare you or knock your idea, but they come factory equipped for a good reason. My suggestion, get a different spoiler.

Try looking up any of the '79-'86 non-GTs.

I agree, they come from the factory with spoilers for a reason... I just always assumed it was sales driven. Otherwise... wouldn't there be a lot of dead notch drivers out there?

So far as the early foxs, I didn't realize the non GTs came without spoilers... I found a few... and don't hate them. Thanks!

No problem. No spoiler can look good on the right fox. I wouldn't worry too much if you wanted to take yours off. The spoilers on these cars can function, but are more cosmetic than anything. Not many people drive fast enough to truly need a good amount of downforce.

I don't see sad fish... I kinda like it. Looks much better on the car with the stock hood. The back end looks neked with the cowl. Thanks, mob

looks much worse in person.

and the spoiler provides NO FUCNTION at all btw, leave some stuff on the spoiler and do 40 mph, youll notice the wind never touches it.

If your only reason to take the spoiler off is because leafs and pine needles gets under it, run weatherstripping between the hatch and the spoiler. I did it for vibration issues with my subs, but it works for keeping stuff out of the spoiler void.

I have seen what Mustangs look like without the spoiler and it is not a pretty sight...IMHO.
