Ok, a friend and I we're trying to figure this out for hours. But basically, whenever I let off the clutch completly, it sounds like there is something clicking or tapping on or around, or inside the bellhousing. It also does it when I step on the clutch all the way down. But doesnt make the noise inbetween. The noise increases with RPM. Any ideas or advice from people who have had this problem or have incountered this before would be real helpful.
Not sure if this matters or not, but we noticed this after we put the Fox Lake P-51 on, and the 3.73 gears as well. Even though they really dont deal with the bell housing area at all......Thx

Well, we took off the inspection cover and looked at it, at it looked fine expect for a little scrape on it, probally from a bad clutch job from a mechanic, but besides that, we turned the car on, it ran the same, couldnt really see much due to the lack of a good jack/lift. but the sound definatly seems to be coming from the bell housing..... it also seems to be getting progressivly worse over time.

I dont know, haha this definatly has me stressed out. Well whats the damage that could happen if its not fix immediatly? Not sure if I have the money right now. Anyways, it does sound like its getting worse, plus its making a 'clunking' noise when shifting now....

I had a bad throw out on my foxbody and it would sometimes whir, clack. That what your problem sounds like to me. I drove with it for a few months and never had a problem.
