hello guys I have a question I have a squealing noise that sounds like when brakes are worn out in the area of the master cylinder when im going fast in my car and I let the gas off or down shift. My friends tell me that it couldn’t be my master cylinder cause my brakes are working fine, dos any body know what it can be. Thanks

I'd say a nasty vaccum leak maybe, since engine vaccum is much greater when the engine is decelerating. Is it more of a metallic squeeling? How good is the engine running other than the strange noise?

Sounds like the ABS motor. You aren't driving on ice, are you?

well the car is running good and yes it dos sound like metallic squeeling. i think reddy351 has a point cause i had the abs light on for about 4 months and the noise just started like 2 weeks ago
