i drove my '66 mustang to work yesterday morning everything seems fine but on my way home (half way) holley electric fuel pump started make noise (HOLLEY VOLUMAX), the noise was so loud that it over power the sound of the exhaust system(3"dr.gas X pipe w/hooker aero chamber mufflers) i try putting rubber in between the mounting bracket and the frame but no such luck.is this normal for holley or should i get a new one before it give up on me. what type of electric pump do you recommend, need something quite.
