I have had my Mustang for years and never heard even a sound from the front end. But my 4.6 Thunderbird is a different story. Two weeks ago the front end started squeeking. I didn't think much of it until I got my grease gun and got under the car and realized there are no grease fittings under there. My buddy suggested drilling and tapping the holes and installing my own grease fittings but I don't just want to put a band-aid on the problem and have to fix it again later. Is this Fords way of making you buy new parts? Or should I dare to take the easy way out?
