Noisy (New) Coil

Hey y'all,

Just put in a high-voltage coil from Accel. From the first start it's been noisy. It buzzes like a mofo. Can barely hear it with the hood open, but when you're inside the car, it's really loud. Is this normal with an aftermarket coil, or did I get a bad one? Thanks.

It's typical. Your coil is okay. It's just the nature of the beast. My new MSD Blaster coil did the same thing. I posted this comment before and kind-of got flamed, but I'll say it again. Mine actually got quieter after a week or so. Obviously, others have not had such luck.
