Anyone else's Non-export Taillight look like an export taillight when a camera flash hits it?

I had never seen that type of reflection before, until I saw a set of export taillights on eBay. Or so I thought. I got them in, and they were the plain taillights. I was a bit...upset, to say the least. So I do agree, you can get the export look from the reflectors.

That incident made me want to look up what the REAL export taillights look like. Basically, the white reverse light is all one solid section - not split like the standard ones.

Can't find a photo, or I'd include it. KarKraft used to have the 94-95 export taillamps, but they appear to be out. They do have the 96-98 style.

I don't get it, what do you mean by export taillights? Like, Euro style or something??? The only difference I notice is that there's a red line across the white lens in the non export, but the exports don't have that line? what am I missing here?

The amber bottom reflector as well as the missing red line are the difference in the Export lights. Totally different than Euro's.

They are called export lights cause in Europe they require a amber (yellow) turn signal & when you ship a car overseas you have to convert to a amber turn signal.

xr8d302, I could use some bigger tires, the 315's just don't cut it anymore.. :)

The brake and tailight lenses have a different diffuser than the domestic lenses, also, the exports have an extra bulb for rear foglights. I've had mine for about 2 years, nobody has yet to notice them or at least mention them. :(
