How can I adjust my 01 GT's clutch? In February we had a KC clutch kit installed along with a new adjustable cable, Steeda Firewall Adjuster and Steeda 'red' quick release, steep ramp quadrant. The release point is the problem - it is right up near the top of the travel of the clutch. And I'd swear the clutch pedal comes up higher than it ever did before. I thought this was corrected with the swap out from the blue quad to the red quad, but it still seems to be the same. I've adjusted it with the firewall adjuster to get the looseness out of the cable (when the pedal begins to get a slight vibe) and I was told some adjustment like this is necessary because new cables do stretch. But this is about all that the firewall adjuster is good for. How the heck can I get it to release down closer to the floorboard like my stock-clutched 02? Do I have to adjust it at the other end, at the clutch fork? And if so, exactly how? It is very difficult to finesse the clutch when you have to watch out for your knee hitting the steering wheel.

Yep, the biggest change was adding the $20 Maximum Motorsport Clutch Pedal Adjuster. It made all the difference in the world. Ordered it online on a Sunday, arrived on Thur or Fri, installed in 20 min on Sat - problem solved. Simple fix, works wonders - I highly recommend!

you asked a question, got zero replies, bumped it thrice, and then posted a solution . . . was being sarcastic. . .

Thanks for the info, I may want to buy that clutch pedal adjuster. $20 is cheap.
