Northern Michigan Mustangs!!!

I think I'm one of the few "up north mustangs" around on the stangnet. I do make my way up towards the UP every once in a while, too bad in about a month the stang goes into hibernation. Good to here theres someone else up here besides me and the buffalo!

I have some friends who live in TC, I try to make it down once and awhile. but have never brought my car down. We may have to get in touch and hang in TC sometime or maybe meet up at the St Ignace show.
I met a guy from Kinross today with an insane clean 93 Cobra with a T-trimed 377 but by Lidio. Here I thought I was the only one with a Mustang, let alone a bad-a$$ one! Drop me a line if you come to UP.

we have a house on Lake Gogebic in the UP over by Ironwood, i dont think i would ever take the moosetang up there though, too many bugs, deer on the road... but its good to know there's stangers up there.

hows hunting this year??? im going up this weekend to do some bird/deer hunting.

good luck! the eastern UP hasnt had deer since last fall and then it wasnt good. there are more around West Branch and Grayling than anywhere. I wouldnt be worrying about hitting to many with the Stang, I came closer when I lived in Ohio. I just found out yesterday there is little outlaw dragstrip at the Raco AFB just outside of Newberry with some pretty quick cars running, the guy who told me was driving a 9900 origanal miled 93 Cobra with a 377 and a T-trim, the car has been 9.60's with a t-56 and no cage! So much for being the fastest 5.0 in the UP! My 10.40 dosent hold to that, cant wait to get the new motor done! I know its a ways off, but lets all get some cars together for the St Ignace Cruise next summer. That would be a blast! Check out the first post on this forum for pics of my car, do you guys have any pics to show off?
Later, Chad

I'd be up for the St. Ignace cruise... Have to bring the 2003 cause I know the 68 won't be finished by then. Hopefully I'll get up that way this winter because my buddy just bought a house in Manistique. I want to get my sleds up there and put some serious miles on em'...

Well, if you didn't notice from the back of the car... I went to Michigan Tech... Maybe a few years longer than I should have.... So I know the UP pretty good, and all the trails are excellent. I'd like to get into the Keewanau after about 9ft of accumulation... It'd be fun driving up to the top of Brockway with all that snow...

I'll see you guys up there in the winter as well! We've got great trails in TC, kalkaska, grayling, but you can't beat the UP! I have one Polaris and one Arctic Cat ZR600, yes crotch rockets on skis! I think I need to get me a stangnet.com sticker for the sled! might even add a few horsepower!:rlaugh:

Yep, got my sled stuck in 4' of snow up in TC... Buried her up to the windshield, damn 800's heavy... Nothing like going 100mph at 3/4 throttle and still being able to break the track loose... WEEEEE, o ***** a tree...

Ernad... There's an annual car show every year up in St. Igance. Next year it looks like its on June 16-17. Which means I probably won't make it... Cause I'll be in the infield at MIS that weekend. Kinda sucks, because the August race makes me miss the Woodward Cruise...
