How big of a shot could i run on my 99 cobra with the STOCK pump. i previously asked this question on power adders but i dont know if they realized it was on my stock fuel pump. or maybe im just an idiot. either way any help is appreciated.also , the 99's have a different fuel system than other cobra's, i think its returnless. thanks

I know the injectors can handle a 125 shot....not sure about the pump. My friend had a 100 shot (wish I could remember if it was the stock pump, I'm pretty sure it was).

Wish I could be more help. I would say put on a 75 shot, monitor the a/f and dyno tune it....go with a larger pill if there are no issues.....

I run 100 Shot NX wet kit on my 01 Cobra. If you go to 125 you should be fine just run a plug that is at least 2 stages colder (I suggest the NGK V Plugs). Do not run a platinum plug with the juice or you will cook your plugs and quite possibly a valve or piston.

Be sure to invest in a RPM module and a bottle heater.

Good Luck!!!!

I wouldn't test the fuel pump past a 100 shot. It's possible to spray it and *not* mess something up but going lean on a 150 shot at 7k isn't something i'd want to tempt. Do a search over on corral for "fuel pump myths solved" or something similar to that. A poster found out the exact flow rates for the pumps.

Just spend the extra cash and get a better pump.

I did that , i have actually tried 2 different pumps on my car and both of them didnt work , at low rpm's it felt like i was just lightly tapping on my brakes every 1/2 second or so, sorta like it was feeding gas then backing off then feeding gas ect... but then when i got up to about 3500rpms it would slowly go away , this was only in 2-4 gears. both pumps did this and i got fed up with it and went back to the stock pump. i dont really remember the names of the pumps , i think one was a chicayne or something( someone told me it was the pump from the Focus) and the other was like a malbro or something , sorry i dont know enough about them.
