Guys I have an 00 gt, and i just bought a dry kit for it. The guy I bought it from and the instructions say to put the line behind the MAF. I dont understand how the car knows to add fuel if it dont go through the MAF. Help me out

It wont; that's a horrible idea. What you would have to do is richen the mixture up in the tune. Even putting the nitrous line before the MAF is a bad idea if adding more than 50 hp. (this is unless you bought the NOS kit designed for returnless cars that adds fuel by tricking the fuel pressure sensor)

What you can do is just buy a fuel solenoid and new nozzle from NX or somebody and make your own wet kit.

Sell your dry kit NOW. And since you seem confused about where the jet goes, that tells me you don't know ANYTHING about nitrous. Please read up on the subject. Learn about the safety measures. Once you've done that, you can buy a wet kit and install it will all of the safety devices.

Wet kits are good but I think direct injection (Holley's NOSzle system) is awesome! Its a bit more expensive but its a complete kit.

Well thats what it says in the manual. i think it is the kit that raises the fuel pressure because the guy that i bought it from said something about that. I know where the jet goes, and i do know about the subject, but this confused me.

i havent heard of a kit spraying before the maf, i dont think the sensor would react right to nitrous. you just have to increase fuel some other way. I thought the problem with wet kits is the fuel could possibly puddle in the intake and cause a back fire, can a backfire still happen with a dry kit?
