NOS sniper system

Is that the system with the little small bottle that you can like hide?
No the sniper has a 10lb bottle. I believe sneaky pete makes a small bottle kit. I run this kit ih as worked well for me. the only complaint i have about it is the solinoids are on the small side. i'm not sure that they have the size to flow 150hp jets. i say this because with 100hp jets installed i run as quick as with 150hp jets installed. mind you i have never tuned the nitrous system or my car for that matter.

I do believe me i do. Just ordered a innovative LM-1 kit so i can tune my carb myself. Can't wait to see what kinda time i can pick-up with tuning.
so you think i could turn out some 11s if i had a tuned carb? what is this lm-1 kit you speak of?

Its just a standard nitrous kit, with a regular commercial sytle bottle.

I believe the solinoids are the same as a power shot, just labeled differantly.

In your position,I would just get the Cheater kit (100-250hp).

what makes the cheater so much better?

Larger solinoids....and I believe it might come with the -06AN line, but Im not positive.Either way,the -04AN will support the 250hp the cheater can make, and if you get the cheater with the stainless braided hose from the noids to the plate (-03AN,or there -04AN/-03AN),its much easier to change jets.

is it worth the extra 200$....im a college student on a budget. Do you think my internals would be up for a 200 shot? I have forged probe flat tops, forged eagle rods and a nodular scat crank

i dont know my compression im guessing its close to 9.5:1....im using stock unmilled head with a stock decked block and probe flat tops.....when i put heads on it will raise the compression obviously

nitrous likes compression. blue venom has some nice links on how to tune nitrous systems. the sniper kit has worked well for me. my bro in-law has one and so does his brother which of couse is my other bro in-law. we all like them. the lm-1 kit is a air fuel ratio computer. it is going to allow me to tune my carb by myself with out need of a dyno. well atleast get me closer to a dyno tune then i am. the newest 5.0L mustang mag has a neat article about a new product that allows you to adjust the pressure of your nitrous bottle (i.e. if bottle presure is 1200 because of sun and you want to only run 1050 to the solinoid you can adjust it to that). bluevenom has a link to tuning the fuel side of the nitrous system. this will give your engine the proper a/f ratio on nos and pick up ponies.

86blue cobra-Where did you find the LM-1 kit and what do they run$? Sounds like something I might invest in.

oh sorry i guess i was stating the obvious. i know 1 reason not to buy the sniper kit. It comes with plastic bottle mounts. which i believe are not allowed at most tracks. take that for whatever it is worth to you.
our local track just basically has you pop ur hood and shut it for inspections but world ford challenge might be a different story.....oh well i guess i could just buy some metal ones, no big deal
