I had a post last week (guess it got wiped out) ...but I finally ran some checks today ...Pressurized the radiator, compression test, etc. Nothing. I was thinking it wasn't a head gasket because the car was still running perfect, but I was fearing for the worst. I guess the white smoke out the pipes is just related to taking the cats off  Anyone else notice white smoke AFTER going to an O/R pipe? even when the engine is warmed up but it is cold outside?

I get it all the time man. Not a big deal at all. As long as the white smoke is more semi-translucent than white and not real heavy then it is just condensation.

BTW, I had replied to your original thread too.

Glad everything's OK :nice:

Thanks guys ...it just caught my attention one night when I was on the interstate for an hour+ and I got off an exit and looked in the rear view mirror and still saw the white smoke. Today though, it was 75 degrees the smoke was very minimal. After I did the tests today, I'm pretty relieved - only downside, the PI heads are gonna have to wait now..

dont sweat it, it is condensation. i have had since the day i bought my car brand new. i took it in and they tested also, but i wasnt sure. however now years later it has not blown up and it would have if it had somthing to do with the head gaskets. your car is fine take a load off. :nice:
