Not a mustang, but someone might know about it

My friend has a 90 super coupe. Its white with leather. The interior is great and so is the body. It has been totaled and has been given a new title. The only thing with the body is that it doesnt have the original front bumper. Now with the driveability: supposedly there is a ground wire from the computer that needs to be hunted down and re-grounded i guess and the abs system locks up every now and then. A mechanic said there was a bad ground and my friend said the car just shuts off while cruising around town. He said it ran fine on the highway doing about 75-80. Could that be the ignition module? Anyways, I can get it for 500 dollars. Its an automatic but it looks nice. It has a new alternator and new battery terminals. Tires are good and he said it ran good although he never put it under full boost; he said it barked the tires shifting into second not even getting on it hard. Any feedback is appreciated

do you basically need a car now or can wait??

I'd say buy it regardless for the $500 and then start pulling it apart selling off the interior and body stuff on ebay to get the money back while holding onto the drivetrain and then find a 94-98 v6 mustang for cheap...even cheaper with a blown engine...

and toss the engine from the sc in it and have some fun
