Not impressed by MagnaFlow...

I am not impressed by MagnaFlow's customer service. I emailed them about the feasability/posibility of swapping their regular oval mufflers out of an existing system and replaceing them with the MagnaPack mufflers. I asked if it can be done and which mufflers would be used. I'm sure it can be done. that was middle of last week and no response yet.

Can anyone tell me the overall length of the MagnaPack mufflers in their MagnaPack cat-back kit?

They simply dont have time to answer your question. Imagine how many they've got backed up so far. Try calling.

They didn't answer b/c they want you to stay with the MagnaFlows. The packs are waaaay too loud and everyone that hears your car will say, "damn...it's another one of dem dar punkazzed kids."

I have never had an issue whith their customer service. I usually just call. I asked the same question. Here is the jist of the answer I got.

Look at the mufflers in the regular Magnaflow catback. You will notice the inlet is offset of the outlet so they are not a straight through design. The magnapack muffler is a straight through design. The pipes from the muffler back will simply not line up if you swap the mufflers. You may be able to have a muffler shop make it work by bending the pipes and maybe moving the hangers around but, to me it isn't worth it.

they probably have a ton of emails to go through, with half of them being worthless.The phone is more than likely their main priority
